Summary

The thrilling second installment in New York Times bestselling author Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series。

It should have taken Juliette a single touch to kill Warner。 But his mysterious immunity to her deadly power has left her shaken, wondering why her ultimate defense mechanism failed against the person she most needs protection from。

She and Adam were able to escape Warner’s clutches and join up with a group of rebels, many of whom have powers of their own。 Juliette will finally be able to actively fight against The Reestablishment and try to fix her broken world。 And perhaps these new allies can help her shed light on the secret behind Adam’s—and Warner’s—immunity to her killer skin。

Juliette’s world is packed with high-stakes action and tantalizing romance, perfect for fans of the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard and the Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken。

Ransom Riggs, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, raved: "A thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love, the Shatter Me series is a must-read for fans of dystopian young-adult literature—or any literature!"

This book was so much more than amazing, I started this the same day and finished the same day cause I couldn’t stop reading it。 I was so wrapped up in their world and the relationships that developed。 I was intrigued by her powers and what she could do。 I was so interested to see what happend next。 I can’t believe I finished this already。 It went by fast and I’m already headed to the next one。 I am in love with this series。

It was enjoyable and really fast-paced。 The action was kind of confusing for some reason。 There seemed to be a lot of things left unexplained。 I liked the character development a lot and I hope there's even more in the next book。 Overall it was good but nothing much really happened。 It was enjoyable and really fast-paced。 The action was kind of confusing for some reason。 There seemed to be a lot of things left unexplained。 I liked the character development a lot and I hope there's even more in the next book。 Overall it was good but nothing much really happened。 。。。more

Now if you hated Warner in the first one I think your really gonna hate him in this on。 Is gets with Juliette a bit and he has powers and so does Adam but you should read it and figure out what really happens to her cause there is a lot。 So enjoy and don’t put it down。

The plot would be more interesting。The brother thing is so obvious I don't know how I did not see that coming and you know I understand this girl has never been touched but she's so horny all the time like?? Girl chill? Kenji is the only thing saving this book what an incredible character love him。 So another book of Juliet being useless! the girl needed a bullet to her chest just to start moving!! well at least we got that。 Maybe she should have just been killed? I know I am late to reading this series but I hadn't known about it for a long time and after that the eye on the cover was just looking at me the wrong way。。。 Tahareh Mafi's writing is so beautifully poetic yet so straightforward I know exactly what she means when she whimpers whispers cries out with Juliette's voice。 Unravel me is Juliette's notebook and if Warner could be real he would be me and I will never return this notebook because I just found a dear new friend who managed to find the words for me to describe all my thoughts and feelings that were stuck in a cell counting the cracks counting the stones counting my breaths waving away the seconds 1。。2。。。3。。。。4。。。 。。。more

By the end of the first book I was very firm in my love for Adam, and my hatred for Warner。 I had suspected that this book would try to take that opinion and flip it but I really wasn’t expecting it to work。In this book, we get to see a peak into Warner’s history—his abusive father, his ailing mother and his apparent relatedness to Adam and James。 (Which I totally predicted by the way。)But just because I’m starting to like Warner a little more, he didn’t erase my love for Adam。 I think that Adam deserved so much better。 It seemed like he was just brushed under the rug as soon as Warner entered the picture。 I do think that Warner and Juliette have chemistry, but I think the same is true with Adam and Juliette。 I shipped them so incredibly hard in the first book, and even now I still love them together。I thought it was so annoying how the second Juliette found out she couldn’t touch him anymore she broke up with him and starting going after Warner, who was the only other person who could touch her。It makes Juliette seem like such a cheap character。 I can understand how frustrating it could be to be in her situation, but it feels as if she’s basing her romantic feelings on whether or not people can touch her or not。 I really hope this issue is addressed in the next book, because it’s one of the reasons my enjoyment was so hindered in this one。Overall, I’m really enjoying this series and I’m excited to get to the next book! I just love the characters and relationships in this book so much, but there a few issues that I have with them that I hope will be resolved throughout the rest of the series。 。。。more

I’ll admit, at the beginning of the book I found Juliette annoying。 She was really ungrateful。 I know, I know, you can’t touch anyone but one person (technically two) but still。 Her life was a MAJOR upgrade from being held captive all alone。 It wasn’t until Kenji talked to her about her behavior to make her realize how childish she was being。 And even then, it took a little bit for her to fully become grateful of her situation; and furthermore stop depending on Adam。 Don’t get me wrong, Adam is I’ll admit, at the beginning of the book I found Juliette annoying。 She was really ungrateful。 I know, I know, you can’t touch anyone but one person (technically two) but still。 Her life was a MAJOR upgrade from being held captive all alone。 It wasn’t until Kenji talked to her about her behavior to make her realize how childish she was being。 And even then, it took a little bit for her to fully become grateful of her situation; and furthermore stop depending on Adam。 Don’t get me wrong, Adam is fine, but she had NO reason to depend on him as much as she did in the beginning。 I was like, “Girl! Get out of your comfort zone, make some new friends, and stop whining about everything!”。 But, Kenji ended up telling her for me。 Thank god he did, because I would have been too fed up to finish the book。 But, still it was amazing。 You find yourself rooting for Warner in this, and putting yourself in the shoes of him。 Anyways, 10/10, despite Juliette being annoying at the beginning lol。 。。。more

Ugh my poor Warner。 He truly is so miss understood and has experienced so much pain in his life。

Love triangle, introduces an enemies to lovers possibility, and someone finally calls out Juliette for being a whiny, self absorbed human。 Thank you, Kenji。Super cheesy with Juliette's inner dialogue again but especially when she's making out with someone。 (insert eye roll) Love triangle, introduces an enemies to lovers possibility, and someone finally calls out Juliette for being a whiny, self absorbed human。 Thank you, Kenji。Super cheesy with Juliette's inner dialogue again but especially when she's making out with someone。 (insert eye roll) 。。。more

So I originally was VERY confused with the first book, but this book really clears everything up and is honestly not badly written。 By far, Warner is so well written even if he is a psychopath
